มศ 101 ภาษาอังกฤษในชีวิตประจำวัน HU 101 Everyday English 1 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารทั้ง 4 ทักษะ ได้แก่ การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน โดยเน้นการสื่อสารในชีวิตประจาวันในระดับ Pre-Intermediate มีการบูรณาการหัวข้อต่าง ๆ ไว้ด้วยกัน เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนสามารถเชื่อมโยงความคิดและนาไปใช้ได้จริงในการสนทนา ทาให้ บทสนทนามีความหลากหลายและต่อเนื่อง เช่น การทักทายในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ การแนะนาตัว การกล่าวถึงที่พักอาศัย สถานศึกษา เพื่อนและบุคลิกลักษณะ การพูดและฟังบทสนทนาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหัวข้อดังกล่าวกับเจ้าของภาษา และในห้องปฏิบัติการภาษา การอ่านเพื่อหาหัวข้อเรื่องและจับใจความสาคัญ การเขียนข้อความ ที่ไม่ซับซ้อนมากนัก การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 13 – 14 และการฝึกทำข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 102 ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสาร HU 102 English for Communication 2 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 3)
ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษทั้ง 4 ทักษะ ได้แก่ การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน โดยเน้นการติดต่อสื่อสาร มีการบูรณาการบริบทและการใช้ภาษาที่มีความหลากหลาย แต่สามารถเชื่อมโยงให้สัมพันธ์กันในสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ ได้ เช่น การเดินทาง การสอบถามข้อมูล การให้ข้อมูล งานเทศกาลต่าง ๆ การพบแพทย์ การสนทนาเกี่ยวกับสุขภาพ อาชีพ และการกรอกแบบฟอร์มต่าง ๆ การพูดและฟังบทสนทนาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับหัวข้อดังกล่าวกับเจ้าของภาษา และในห้องปฏิบัติการภาษา การอ่านโฆษณา แผนที่ และบทความสั้น ๆ เพื่อจับใจความและสาระสาคัญ การเขียนสรุปความจากการฟังและการอ่าน การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 15 และการฝึกทาข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 103 การใช้ภาษาในการสื่อสาร HU 103 Thai Usage in Communication 2 หน่วยกิต (2 – 0 – 0)
ศึกษาความรู้เบื้องต้นด้านการสื่อสารและลักษณะภาษาไทยทั้งภาคทฤษฎีและปฏิบัติ ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสาคัญสาหรับการเป็นผู้ตามและผู้นาที่มีคุณภาพ สามารถประยุกต์การฟังและการอ่านอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การอ่านให้ถูกต้องตามอักขรวิธี การพูดต่อหน้าชุมชน ตลอดจน การเขียนความเรียงและหนังสือราชการเบื้องต้นใน การปฏิบัติงานอันเป็นการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาภาวะผู้นำ
มศ 201 ภาษาอังกฤษในการเข้าสังคม HU 201 English in Society 1 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารทั้ง 4 ทักษะ ได้แก่ การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน โดยเน้นการสื่อสารในสังคมในระดับ Intermediate มีการบูรณาการบริบทและ การใช้ภาษาที่มีความหลากหลาย คานึงถึงความเหมาะสมในสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ เช่น การตอบรับและปฏิเสธ การขอโทษ การสนทนาทางโทรศัพท์ การตั้งคาถามและตอบข้อซักถาม การแสดงความคิดเห็น การสนับสนุนหรือขัดแย้ง การเสนอแนะ และการตัดสินใจจากสถานการณ์จาลอง การพูดและฟังบทสนทนาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสถานการณ์ดังกล่าวกับเจ้าของภาษา ในห้องปฏิบัติการภาษา และทางสื่อต่าง ๆ การอ่านประกาศ แจ้งความ ข่าว สารคดี รายงาน บทความต่าง ๆ และสามารถพูดและ เขียนสรุปความที่มีข้อความต่อเนื่องและซับซ้อนได้ การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 16 - 17 และการฝึกทาข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 202 ภาษาอังกฤษกับวัฒนธรรม HU 202 English and Culture 1 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ศึกษาและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้ง 4 ทักษะ ได้แก่ การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน การศึกษาวัฒนธรรมโดยเน้นการสังเกตความหลากหลายและแตกต่างทางวัฒนธรรมและความคิด ของกลุ่มคนในแต่ละท้องถิ่น ประเทศ หรือภูมิภาค ศึกษาคาศัพท์ สานวน การอ้างอิง การเปรียบเทียบ การอธิบายลักษณะ รูปร่าง หน้าตา การแต่งกาย และอุปนิสัยของบุคคล ฝึกการคิดวิเคราะห์ เช่น การสรุปความ ตีความ วิเคราะห์ และสังเคราะห์ สามารถถ่ายทอดและนาเสนอข้อเท็จจริงและข้อคิดเห็นได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ จากทาง การพูด การฟัง และการเขียน โดยจะเน้นที่ความถูกต้องทางด้านไวยากรณ์และภาษาที่สละสลวย การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 18 และการฝึกทาข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 301 ภาษาอังกฤษเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับการบิน HU 301 English for Aviation 1 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ศึกษาและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้ง 4 ทักษะ โดยให้ความสาคัญกับ การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน ตามลาดับ ควบคู่ไปกับการศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการบิน เช่น ICAO PHONETIC ALPHABET คาศัพท์ทาง การบิน และส่วนต่าง ๆ ของเครื่องบิน สามารถพูด อธิบาย และสนทนาเรื่องเกี่ยวกับเครื่องบินและการบินที่ไม่ซับซ้อนมากนัก ตลอดจนสามารถอ่านบทความทางอากาศยานทั่วไป และเขียนสรุปความได้ การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 19 - 20 และการฝึกทาข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 302 ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารทางการบิน HU 302 English for Radiotelephony 1 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้ง 4 ทักษะ โดยให้ความสาคัญกับ การฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน ตามลาดับ ควบคู่ไปกับการศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการสื่อสารทางการบิน โดยเน้นการฝึกปฏิบัติในห้องปฏิบัติการภาษา ผ่านทางโปรแกรมสาเร็จรูป เช่น RTAFA CBT AVIATION ENGLISH การชมภาพยนตร์ และสารคดีต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการบิน การอ่านบทความทางการบินที่มีความซับซ้อนมากขึ้น และสามารถพูดและเขียนสรุปความได้ การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 21 และการฝึกทาข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 401 ภาษาอังกฤษเกี่ยวกับการทหาร HU 401 Military English 1.5 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ศึกษาและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้ง 4 ทักษะ โดยให้ความสาคัญกับ การพูด การฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน ตามลาดับ ควบคู่ไปกับการศึกษาภาษาอังกฤษที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการทหาร เช่น การทบทวนคาศัพท์เกี่ยวกับชั้นยศ ตาแหน่ง หน่วยงานในกองทัพอากาศและเหล่าทัพอื่น ๆ วิสัยทัศน์ ยุทธศาสตร์ และพันธกิจของ รร.นอ. กองทัพอากาศและเหล่าทัพอื่น ๆ ตลอดจนอากาศยานทหาร อาวุธยุทโธปกรณ์ และเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ โดยมุ่งเน้นข้อมูลที่นนอ.ควรรู้ สามารถอธิบายได้อย่างถูกต้อง ชัดเจน โดยการพูด การเขียน และการนาเสนอ ฟังสุนทรพจน์ของผู้นาที่ควรศึกษา ฝึกเขียน อ่าน และกล่าวสุนทรพจน์ในวาระต่าง ๆ เช่น กล่าวต้อนรับ กล่าวขอบคุณ และมอบของที่ระลึก การศึกษาคาศัพท์ ALC เล่มที่ 22 - 24 และการฝึกทาข้อสอบ ECL
มศ 402 ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน HU 402 English for Sustainable Development 1.5 หน่วยกิต (1 – 0 – 1)
ฝึกฝนและพัฒนาทักษะการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้ง 4 ทักษะ ได้แก่ การฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน โดยเน้น การสืบค้นข้อมูลจากแหล่งข้อมูลสิ่งพิมพ์ แหล่งข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิคส์ และข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ สามารถแยกแยะได้ว่า ข้อมูลใดคือข้อเท็จจริง สาระสาคัญ และข้อมูลใดคือความคิดเห็น สามารถนาเสนอในรูปแบบของการบรรยายสรุป ซึ่งประกอบด้วย การเขียน การอ่าน การพูด และการส่งรายงาน 1 เล่มพร้อม CD ทั้งนี้ เนื้อหาสาระอาจเกี่ยวข้องกับ บทความทางวิชาการ เทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ การทหาร ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ โครงการต่าง ๆ ตลอดจน ฝึกทักษะการทาข้อสอบมาตรฐาน เช่น ALCPT/ECL, TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, CU-TEP และ TU-GET Course Description

HU 101 Everyday English
Everyday English is a pre- intermediate communicative English course which aims to practice and develop the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing. A wide range of actual daily life conversation topics will be studied through an integrating approach, as a result, air cadets should be able to relate each particular topic to a real life situation for example; greetings, talking about my house, university life, friends, and personality. Air cadets will practice listening and speaking with English native lecturer in language labs provided throughout the study. This course also contains reading for topics and main ideas as well as writing simple sentences. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 15 and ECL tests.
HU 102 English for Communication
English Communication is designed to practice and develop the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing using a communicative approach as a mean. Integrating the use of context clues and various English usages during the course enables air cadets to apply such knowledge in different real life situations for example; travelling, giving and asking for information, talking about festivals, seeing a doctor, talking about health, careers, filling in a form. Air cadets will practice listening and speaking with English native lecturer in language labs provided throughout the study. Writing summary and reading for main ideas from advertisements, maps and short articles are included. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 15 and ECL tests.
HU 103 Thai Usage in Communication
Thai usage in Communication is a study of basic Thai Language and its characteristics theoretically and practically using communicative approach which is very important foundation to build followership and leadership for air cadets. Participants develop both reading and listening skills effectively during the course. Air cadets are expected to sound out the proper spelling of the word, t๐ develop good public speaking, and to learn how to write a simple essay and basic official letters
HU 201 English in Society
English in Society is an intermediate English course which aims to practice and develop the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing on different social settings. Air cadets will learn how to use English properly in a specific social situation such as accepting & refusing, giving an apology, phone conversation, questioning and answering, expressing an opinion, agreeing or disagreeing, giving advice and making decision. Air cadets will practice listening and speaking with English native lecturer in language labs provided throughout the study. Air cadets will also develop their reading skill by exploring printing media, articles, notices, reports, and documentaries. Higher level of writing summary is also included. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 16 - 17 and ECL tests.
HU 202 English and Culture
English and culture is designed to develop four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing effectively regarding culture awareness. Air cadets will learn English on the basis of the diversity of cultures and societies in different countries and regions. Topics in this course include vocabularies and expressions, compare and contrast, as well as describing people, and etc. Their thinking and analytical skills will be developed during the course which will help them to express their ideas in English in the most effective way through all four English skills. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 18 and ECL tests.
HU 301 English for Aviation
English for Aviation is designed to develop the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing together with the study of basic aviation English such as ICAO PHONETIC ALPHABET, aviation vocabularies and aircraft parts. At the end of the course, air cadets should enable to talk, read and write a summary about basic aviation. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 19 -20 and ECL tests.
HU 302 English for Radiotelephony
English for Radiotelephony is designed to develop the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing together with the study of Radiotelephony. The emphasis will also be on learning in a language lab using the computer program such as RTAFA CBT AVIATION ENGLISH. During the course, Air cadets are assigned to view English movies, documentaries, and read more difficult articles in relation to aviation. Summary writing and speaking about aviation are included. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 21 and ECL tests.
HU 401 Military English
Military English course mainly focuses on using the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing to communicate effectively together with the study of English for military career such as aircraft, weapon & equipment, rank insignia, position, division in the Royal Thai Air Force and in other Thai armed forces. Air cadets will learn English vocabularies in relation to vision, mission, and strategic plan of the Royal Thai Air Force Academy and other military academies. Additionally, they will listen to famous speeches and learn how write speeches for different occasions such as welcoming speech and thank you speech. Learn and practice ALC vocabularies from book 22 - 24 and ECL tests.
HU 402 English for Sustainable Development
English for Sustainable Development aims to practice and develop the four English skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing. This course also emphasizes on information searching from different sources available such as articles, publications; newspaper or internet. Additionally, Air cadet will learn how to analyze the particular data if it is a fact or an opinion. Air cadets have to apply their English 4 skills to make a briefing presentation and submit its report together with CD at the end of the course. The Briefing topics vary from academic journal, new technology, military, international relationship or interesting relevant projects. Study and practice the standard tests such as ALCPT/ECL, TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, CU-TEP, and TU-GET.
